Terry Fletcher's Page June 14, 2004: I had a very nice experience with the Lowrance folks. I own an Airmap 100 GPS which I've had for about 5 years. The upper 1/5 of the screen went blank so I went to their website and asked them what it would cost to repair it. I originally paid $550 for it so I was hoping it wouldn't cost too much. They responded and said they have a flat fee of $74.95 to repair it and gave me an RA number to return it. After about two weeks I received a package in the mail from them. To my surprise they replaced the unit with a brand new one. Additionally, they updated the database with the 2004 charts. To top it all off, when I started the unit, I was pleasantly surprised to see that they had loaded all the waypoints I had stored in my old unit. I will definitely get a Lowrance should I ever need to upgrade. August 15, 2004: I took some arial pictures of my house and Country Air today:
